Projektbeschreibung der*des Nominierenden

Professor Tal is an internationally renowned classical archaeologist. His pioneering research on the Persian- and Hellenistic-period Levant has profoundly shaped our understanding of cultural interaction, economy, and material culture in the eastern Mediterranean. Professor Tal’s work combines field archaeology, numismatics, natural sciences and the publication of legacy data. During his stay in Germany, he will further develop joint research on Hellenistic urbanism and material culture.
